What is Nolvadex?

How should Nolvadex be used?

- Take Nolvadex orally with or without meal.
- Take the medicine with any nonalcoholic fluid.
- Swallow the medicine without chewing, breaking or crushing it.
- Do not stop using Nolvadex even if your condition improves. Take the medicine every day. You should not miss any doses.
- If you miss a dose, you should take it as soon as you remember it. If it is close to your normal scheduled time of use of the medication, you may need to skip the missed dose and to return to your normal schedule. Avoid taking a double dose of Nolvadex.

What side effects can Nolvadex cause?

Symptoms of a strong allergy (unexplained hoarseness; rash; hives; tightness in the chest; itching; trouble breathing; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); unusual menstrual periods; chest pain; coughing up blood; decreased sexual desire or ability; unusual vaginal bleeding or bloody discharge; dark urine; depression; vision or speech problems; fever, chills, or persistent sore throat; pain or swelling in one or both legs; groin or pelvic pain or pressure; yellowing of the eyes or skin; sudden severe headache; loss of appetite; loss of balance or coordination; unusual bleeding or bruising; missed menstrual period; new or unusual lumps; one-sided weakness; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; skin changes; new or increased breast tumor or pain; severe or persistent tiredness or weakness; shortness of breath; stomach pain; swelling of the arms or the legs.
