What is Kamagra (Sildenafil)?
Kamagra is a medication that helps to relax muscles and to increase blood circulation to some parts of the body.
The Viagra brand of Kamagra is prescribed for treatment of impotence (erectile dysfunction or ED) in men. Revatio brand of Kamagra is intended for treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension and for improvement of exercise capacity in people of both sexes.
Avoid combining Viagra with Revatio unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
The medication may also be prescribed for other purposes.
What is the most important to know about Kamagra (Sildenafil)?
The medicine should not be used if you are taking a nitrate drug to treat chest pain or heart disease, such as isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), and nitroglycerin (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, and others). Some recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite (\"poppers\") also contain nitrates. Using Kamagra in combination with nitrates can provoke a serious decrease in blood pressure, which can lead to fainting, stroke, or heart attack. If you feel numbness, pain, or tingling in your arms, chest, neck, or jaw, or if you become dizzy or nauseated during sexual activity, stop and call your healthcare provider immediately as these symptoms may signify severe adverse reaction. Avoid taking Kamagra more often than one time in 24 hours. You should call your healthcare provider or seek emergency medical help if you have an erection which lasts for more than 4 hours or which is painful. Priarism (prolonged erection) can be harmful for your penis.
Kamagra can lessen the blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye and cause unexpected vision problems. Such problems have occurred in some people who were using Kamagra, the majority of them was also suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or pre-existing eye problems, or smoke or were more than 50 years old. It is not known if Kamagra actually causes vision loss.
If you experience sudden vision loss, you should stop taking Kamagra and seek emergency medical attention.
How should Kamagra (Sildenafil) be used?
Follow the prescriptions of your doctor and the instructions which come with the medication carefully. Do not change your dose and do not use Kamagra for a longer period than prescribed.
The Revatio brand of Kamagra is commonly used three times every day, every 4 to 6 hours.
The Viagra brand of Kamagra is commonly used only when necessary, 30 minutes to 4 hours before sexual activity. Do not use it more than once a day.
Viagra does not cause an erection without sexual stimulation. Follow the recommendations of your doctor.
If you feel numbness, pain, or tingling in your arms, chest, neck, or jaw, or if you become dizzy or nauseated during sexual activity, you should stop and call your healthcare provider immediately as these symptoms may signify severe adverse reaction. The medication should be kept at room temperature protected from heat and moisture.
What side effects can Kamagra (Sildenafil) cause?Seek emergency medical attention if you experience any of the following symptoms of allergy: trouble breathing; hives; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. - ringing in your ears, or sudden hearing loss;
- chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling;
- shortness of breath;
- vision changes; or
- sudden vision loss.

- memory problems;
- upset stomach;
- back pain; or
- warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest.
